Used to treat gates, edges and local burrs to give a cleaner appearance and feel.
Rubber-Like TPU(thermoplastic polyurethane) is an elastomer material that combines the flexibility of rubber with the processing properties of plastics.
Quote checklist: Upload your 3D model and, when available, a 2D drawing. Identify the required process, material, quantity, critical dimensions, finish, appearance standard, and target delivery date.
Engineering note: Values below are typical reference ranges. Final manufacturability, tolerances, material condition, surface finish, cost, and lead time depend on the drawing, geometry, quantity, and selected process.
Upload CAD files and mark critical features for an engineering review before production.

Used to treat gates, edges and local burrs to give a cleaner appearance and feel.
Clean up the parting lines and spill edges; it is recommended to mark the priority and acceptance criteria in the remarks for the appearance surface.
Used to achieve color consistency and uniform texture (matte/gloss, etc.); it is recommended to provide reference pictures or effect descriptions.
Suitable for logos, scales and other graphic information; it is recommended to provide vector files and clarify the location and size.
Suitable for structures that require elasticity, cushioning, holding or certain deformation recovery capabilities.
It is used for structural validation, feel verification, assembly and coordination verification and other tests that are closer to the use conditions.
Color/logo consistency is achieved through spray coating and screen printing, suitable for display samples and small batch trial production.
Easier to strike a balance between cost, appearance and performance, suitable for a variety of elastomer parts needs.
TPU injection molding is often used for appearance prototypes and flexible function verification, and is suitable for parts that require elasticity, rebound, cushioning or a certain soft feel.
If you are more concerned about high rigidity or high temperature resistance, please write down the working conditions in the remarks, and we will recommend a more matching engineering material solution.
If there are key assembly dimensions and appearance surfaces, please provide 2D annotations and remarks, and the quote will be faster and more accurate.
For TPU, it is recommended to keep the wall thickness as uniform as possible and avoid sudden changes in thickness and large areas of ultra-thin surfaces.
TPU injection molding supports: Trimming, removing edges, surface spray coating, screen printing.
If you want a more finished presentation, a common approach is: after removing the edges and trimming, spray the surface according to the target texture, and use screen printing to achieve logo consistency.
It is recommended to provide:
Common references given on this material page are: Minimum wall thickness 0.8mm.
If you have a thinner area or a large area of thin-wall, please note the "position and size of the thin-wall area" and we will do a DFM assessment based on the structure and appearance objectives.
Common temperature resistance references for TPU injection molding are: 30 ~ 80℃.
If you need higher temperature resistance or long-term high-temperature work, please write down the temperature/duration/stress conditions, and we will recommend a more appropriate material system and process solution.
It is recommended that you make it clear in the drawings or notes:
We will prioritize the location of gates and parting lines based on this, and match trimming/removal and quality inspection standards.
After uploading the file, we will provide feedback with quote and manufacturability suggestions (DFM) as soon as possible, and provide optional lead times and finishing plans.
