Finishing

chamfer

It is used to remove sharp edges, improve assembly feel and reduce the risk of edge collision; it is recommended to mark the chamfer size and position on the drawing.

polish

Used to improve processing texture and appearance consistency; if there are appearance surface requirements, please define key appearance surfaces and acceptable texture standards.

bonding

Suitable for component design and subsequent assembly; please note the bonding surface location and strength/sealing requirements to facilitate evaluation of process and reliability.

screen printing

Applicable to logos, scales and batch information; it is recommended to provide vector files and location and size instructions.

Laser engraving

For durable markings and serial numbers; please provide content, font/size and placement requirements, and describe visual contrast expectations.

chrome plated

For appearance enhancement and surface effect requirements; please indicate the target appearance, functional requirements and allowable thickness/size influence range in the remarks.

Why Choose Polyphenylene Sulfide-PPS (CNC Machining)

For high temperature-resistant working conditions

When parts need to maintain stable performance in higher temperature environments, PPS is often a common choice among engineering plastic solutions.

Electrical insulation needs to be more friendly

Suitable for insulating structural parts, isolation parts and components that require electrical performance considerations (please note the insulation standards and testing requirements).

Corrosion-resistant applications are more stable

For projects that are sensitive to media/environment, PPS is often used for material selection evaluation in the direction of corrosion resistance (it is recommended to provide media information).

CNC fast delivery

Suitable for rapid processing and small batch production of structural parts and end-use parts; upload drawings to quickly get quotes, lead times and DFM recommendations.

Recommended Applications

  • High temperature resistance requirements: Structural parts/functional parts that need to be used near high temperatures or hot environments
  • electrical insulation: Insulating spacers, insulation structures and related electrical applications
  • Resistant to corrosive environments: Parts sensitive to media/corrosive environments (please provide media information for evaluation)
  • Structural and end-use parts in small batches: Projects that require CNC rapid delivery and stable reproducibility

It is not recommended to use it directly (it is recommended to change materials/processes)

  • Extreme requirements for exterior mirrors: It is recommended to first confirm the appearance standards and acceptable textures, or evaluate a more appropriate finishing path.
  • Ultra-thin/ultra-fine structure: It is recommended to optimize the structure and do DFM first, and change the material system or process route if necessary.
  • Strong impact/high toughness is preferred: It is recommended to evaluate more tough engineering plastic solutions based on working conditions.
  • Requires higher precision/tighter fit: Please mark tolerances and key benchmarks in the drawings, and add secondary processing plans if necessary.

Design and DFM Guidelines

  • Mark the key dimensions first: Please mark the assembly holes, positioning datum and mating surfaces with tolerances or note "fitting method/clearance target" to facilitate the evaluation of processing routes and costs.
  • Thin walls and long cantilevers: It is recommended to avoid ultra-thin long cantilevers; the wall thickness should be as uniform as possible to reduce the risk of deformation and processing vibration marks.
  • Acute angles and stress concentration: It is recommended to add rounded transitions to the inner corners; sharp corners/thickness changes will increase the risk of cracking or deformation.
  • Holes and threads: If tapping/precision fitting holes are required, it is recommended to reserve a machining allowance and indicate "secondary processing/fitting level required" in the remarks.
  • Finishing and appearance: If you need chamfering/polishing/chrome plating/logoing (screen printing/radium engraving), please clearly indicate the standard and reference effect in the notes when placing an order to avoid rework.
