Brass-H62 CNC machining material (H62 brass / brass H62 / copper alloy machining material), suitable for structural parts, cosmetic parts and small batch part manufacturing; supports polishing, electroplating (nickel/chromium/gold), sandblasting and laser engraving, providing fast quote and delivery.

Brass H62

Brass H62 is a widely used general-purpose Brass, with advantages such as "balanced strength and plasticity, good machinability, and easy appearance to handle," making it suitable for turning/milling for general-purpose parts and decorative appearances.

Structural suggestions Please provide complete 2D annotation for deep hole/thin groove/thin-wall structure; if assembly is required, it is recommended to clarify the hole tolerance and datum plane.
Appearance suggestions If selected polish or Electroplating (nickel/chromium/gold), it is recommended to mark the appearance surface and allowable grain direction; please indicate the areas that need to be shielded (such as assembly surface/conductive surface/mating surface) in the remarks.

Finishing

polish

Used to improve surface finish and metallic texture. If there are requirements for mirror effect or "visible texture", please define the appearance surface and standards.

Electroplating (nickel/chromium/gold)

Used for appearance decoration, corrosion resistance and surface properties improvement. Please indicate coating type and appearance goals (color/brightness/shaded area).

sandblasting

Used to achieve a uniform matte texture and weaken lightly processed lines. When plating/repolishing after sandblasting, please indicate the process sequence in the remarks.

Laser engraving

Suitable for model, logo, QR code and logo engraving. It is recommended to provide vector files/clear artwork and indicate the location, size and depth requirements.

Why Choose Brass-H62 (CNC Machining)

Suitable for structural parts and cosmetic parts

Taking into account processing feasibility and appearance performance, it is suitable for end-use parts and small batch delivery.

Clear finishing options

Supports polishing, electroplating (nickel/chromium/gold), sandblasting and laser engraving, making it easy to combine processes according to appearance goals.

Adapt to small batches and rapid iteration

The transition from prototypes to small batches can be smooth; critical dimensions can be risk-controlled through 2D annotation and DFM review.

Delivery standards can be defined by appearance

Through constraints such as appearance surface/masking surface/grain direction, the goal of "looking like a finished product" is reduced to executable processing and quality inspection requirements.

Recommended Applications

  • Structural parts/cosmetic parts: Parts that require metallic texture and stable delivery
  • Need surface effect: Combination of polishing, electroplating (nickel/chromium/gold), sandblasting, and laser engraving to achieve the target appearance
  • small batch: Rapid trial production and small batch delivery, support DFM according to drawings and notes to control risks
  • Identification requirements: Model/Logo/QR code and other information can be traced through laser engraving.

It is not recommended to use it directly (it is recommended to change materials/processes)

  • Extremely resistant to corrosive environments: Please explain the medium and working conditions, and evaluate more suitable material systems and surface solutions.
  • Ultra-thin long cantilever: The risk of deformation is higher. It is recommended to reinforce the structure/separate parts/modify the process and do DFM first.
  • Strong constraints on parameters/authentication: If you need to specify the standard/grade/certificate, please indicate it when making an inquiry for matching.
  • Ultra-high precision fit: When higher accuracy is required, please mark tolerances and benchmarks to evaluate finishing strategies.

Design and DFM Guidelines

  • Appearance surface definition: If polishing/plating effects are required, please mark the appearance surface and allowable knife mark/stretch direction, and provide reference pictures if necessary.
  • Hole location and assembly: It is recommended to provide 2D markings (aperture/tolerance/datum) for key holes and mating holes; if higher accuracy is required, please note "hole accuracy priority".
  • Thin walls and deep cavities: Thin-walled, deep-hole, and fine-groove structures are more dependent on tooling and tooling strategies. It is recommended to reserve machinable space and conduct a DFM review first.
  • Plating masking: If there is an assembly surface/conductive surface/mating surface that you do not want to be plated or thickened, please clarify the shielding area and requirements.
  • Laser engraving information: Provide vector files and position dimensions; if wear resistance/long-term readability is required, please indicate the use environment and depth requirements.
