Injection molding costs generally consist of two parts:

• Mold cost: Related to structural complexity, mold steel, number of holes, slider/inclined roof and other mechanisms
• unit price: Related to material, weight, molding cycle, quantity, surface/assembly requirements

A common practice is to "open the mold and test it first to confirm the sample → then mass produce according to the quantity", which makes the cost split clear and the decision-making more controllable.

• Trial prototype: verify size, assembly, appearance and structural strength
• Small batch trial production: used for trial marketing, trial assembly, functional validation or phased delivery
• Mass production ramping: gradually increase volume after confirming the process window

The minimum order quantity is related to the product structure, materials, number of cavities and lead time requirements; we will give a recommended plan after uploading the drawings.

Injection molding tolerances are related to material shrinkage, structural dimensions, mold accuracy and molding conditions. Usually:

• Conventional structural parts: typical ±0.05–0.10mm (depending on size range and material)
• Key dimensions of assembly/sealing: key controls can be carried out (need to be marked on 2D drawings and reviewed for confirmation)
• Thin-walled/large-sized/high-shrinkage materials: need to be adjusted based on DFM and mold trial results

If there are critical assembly dimensions, tolerance zones or GD&T, please mark them in the drawings. Accessibility and inspection plans will be confirmed separately during the review phase.

Commonly used materials (examples) include:

• ABS, PP, PC, PA (nylon), POM, PMMA, TPE/TPU, etc.
• Optional modifications: glass fiber reinforcement, flame retardant (UL94), weather resistance, high temperature resistance, etc. (evaluated by project)

If you have compliance/certification requirements (such as food contact, RoHS/REACH, etc.), you can state it in the remarks and we will give suggestions based on material grade and process feasibility.

Material selection will affect shrinkage, appearance, strength and cost. It is recommended to provide usage and working environment (temperature/load/chemical exposure).

Injection molding projects are usually divided into two stages: "mold opening/mold trial" and "mass production":

• Mold manufacturing: 7–15 working days common (longer for complex structures/multiple institutions; expedited can be assessed)
• Trial mold and sample delivery: usually 1–3 working days (including trial mold and sample delivery)
• Batch delivery: determined according to quantity and production schedule (can support batch shipment)

If you have a clear node (trial assembly/commissioning/delivery), please indicate the expected date and quantity in the remarks, and we will give you the best delivery plan.

Yes. After uploading the drawings, an injection molding manufacturability (DFM) review will be conducted. Common ones include:

• Wall thickness and ribs: avoid shrinkage, warping, and stress concentration
• Draft angle and parting line: ensure controllable demoulding and appearance
• Gate location and flow: Reduce the risk of weld lines, air streaks and short shots
• Ejection/slider/inclined ejection: dealing with undercut and demoulding interference
• Tolerances and Assembly: Critical Dimension Control and Inspection Recommendations

All structural adjustment suggestions will be confirmed with you first, and design intentions will not be modified without authorization.

If there are high-risk points in the structure (such as undercuts, thin-walls, large planes, sudden changes in thickness, etc.), we will:

• Mark risks and impacts (appearance, size, strength, yield, mold complexity)
• Provide options: adjust structure/increase slope/change gate/change material or add mechanism
• After you confirm, proceed to mold opening and mold testing.

The goal is to achieve stable mass production and consistency within controllable costs and lead times.

• Critical dimensions, tolerances and assembly relationships
• Appearance defects (welding lines, shrinkage, silver streaks, air marks, etc.)
• Material and color/texture matching (if requested)

If optimization is needed, we will evaluate adjustment plans (such as process optimization or mold correction) based on the mold trial results and target requirements before entering mass production.
